New Easisave US Dollar currency accounts launched

FIMBank has announced the launch of its Easisave US Dollar savings account and fixed term deposits. These new Easisave products enable customers to open online savings accounts and fixed term deposits in US Dollar currency for fixed periods of between three months and three years, with competitive interest rates going up to 2.85% per annum.

Commenting on the launch of these new deposit products, FIMBank President Margrith Lutschg-Emmenegger stated that: “Following the success of the Easisave Euro account, we identified a demand for online savings and fixed term deposits in US Dollar currency. We therefore proceeded with enhancing our online platform to allow the opening of online accounts in this currency. The Easisave USD savings account allows customers instant access to their money, while Easisave USD fixed term deposits offer the assurance that the full principal will be returned at the end of the term, together with the interest accrued.” Ms Lutschg-Emmenegger explained that since the minimum deposit requirement for this product was only of USD 1,000 or EUR 1,000, Easisave continued to be accessible to the smaller savers. She stated that “FIMBank will continue to enhance and develop the Easisave platform because the Bank’s goal remains that of building a loyal customer base by offering attractive rates and a superior customer service through our dedicated helpdesk.”
