14.07.2011

The Easisave team will be available throughout the Malta Jazz Festival to highlight the attributes of this innovative savings product and explain its relevance for investors seeking a higher interest on their savings. Easisave, one of the main sponsors of the 21st Edition of the Malta Jazz Festival, will be setting up a booth at the Festival on the evenings of the 14, 15 and 16 July, where customers can obtain further information about the product and have the possibility of opening an account on site.

Easisave is an internet based product available through a secure and dedicated website www.easisave.com. Developed by FIMBank, the product enables customers to open an account, which is linked to a traditional bank account, within minutes, thus allowing customers to control and manage their savings at any time, with no fixed terms, fees or bank charges. Easisave offers a premium interest of 2.5% on personal savings accounts.

Commenting on the Bank’s support of and presence at this prestigious cultural event, FIMBank Head of Product Sales Renald Theuma stated that “we are delighted to be supporting the Malta Council for Culture and Arts and to be associated with the Malta Jazz Festival. We also see this as an opportunity to explain the benefits of Easisave as well as our range of fixed term deposit accounts”.

Mr Theuma explained that FIMBank will also be promoting FIMBank’s Classic Term Deposits, a fixed term deposit account being offered at very attractive rates of interest starting with 1 year at 3.75% gross per annum, 2 years at 4% gross per annum and 3 years at 4.25% gross per annum. A Classic Term Deposit account can be opened with a minimum of €25,000 with no charges or transaction fees.
